Australia

Why Australia? Because my sister study abroad in Australia, also I think maybe I will study there.

The mainland of Australia ranked sixth in the world, about 217 times the size of Taiwan; The coastline stretches are like 37,000 km, and across the South Pacific and the Indian Ocean.

Celebrations are part of Australian's culture, there are many kinds of festival. Those celebrations bring out the cultures of Australia, also some celebrations even had affected the sport. The examples are like: Australia Day, Sydney Festival, Anzac Day, Vivid Sydney, and Tempest. They are the popular or the special celebrations that Australia had.

Australia is a country composed of people from many different backgrounds, about 23% of whom were born in other countries, and at least one of the parents of more than One-fourth people were born overseas. People from more than 140 countries choose to become Australian citizens.

Cultural pluralism has become a national feature of Australia and one of the most important advantages of Australia in the face of the challenges of rapid change in the world. This pluralism was made up of Aboriginal culture, early European settlers and the influx of immigrants from all over the world, which is the root of competitive advantage, rich culture and social stability.

Australia is one of the oldest land blocks in the world, and it was estimated that humans have emigrated to this point for 60,000 years.

Next, I want to talk about Sydney Opera House was located in Sydney, Australia, is one of the most distinctive architecture in the 20th century, is also the world-famous Performing Arts center, Sydney City's landmark building. The theater designer, John Lesson, a Danish designer, started working from 1959, and the 1973 Grand Theatre was officially inaugurated. On June 28, 2007, the building appraised by UNESCO as a World Heritage site. Sydney Opera House is in the port of Sydney's convenient Lang Kook, its unique sail styling, plus as the backdrop of the Sydney Harbor Bridge, with the surrounding scenery. Thousands of tourists come to see the building every day. The Sydney Opera House consists of two main halls, small theatres, performance halls and other ancillary facilities.

The two halls were located in larger sail-type structures, while the small performance halls are at the base of the base. The large main hall is the concert hall, can accommodate up to 2679 people. The design of the building the largest hall into an opera house, and then the design changed, and even the completed opera stage was demolished and rebuilt. There is a piano in the concert hall, which was made by Ronald De Ship from 1969 to 1979. Known as the world's largest mechanical wood connecting rod organ, composed of 10,500 ducts.

The smaller of the main hall is the Opera house. As the main hall was originally designed as the Opera house, the small hall was considered not suitable for large opera performances, the stage is relatively small and gives the band space is not convenient for large bands to play. Other ancillary facilities include theater, and studio. A number of free public performances are often held before the entrance ladder.

Maybe in the summer vocation, I'll go back to Australia to find my sister and my aunt. I will never forget the delicious food in the Australia, and the fresh air is a whole lot better than Taiwan.
